The North Omaha Trail has a new logo!
This brand is shaped by land, history, culture, and community. It honors deep roots while creating new routes forward. Inspired by the wisdom of Adinkra symbols, which represent leadership, resilience, and collective strength, the branding connects ancestral memory with a future vision. It reflects a community grounded in heritage and moving toward opportunity, balance, and justice.
More than a look or a logo, this brand is a reflection of the people building connections and a future where everyone can thrive. The identity is rooted in a unique community fingerprint. Just as no two fingerprints are the same, no two communities are the same. It is a mark of presence that cannot be erased. We honor the irreplaceable soul of North Omaha, celebrating a culture that is as deep as it is enduring.
The North Omaha Trail is an innovative urban development project creating a vibrant, multi-use pathway that connects neighborhoods, promotes healthy living, celebrates the rich cultural heritage of North Omaha, and leads the way in environmental stewardship.
A clean-air corridor
Stretching approximately 8 miles when completed, the North Omaha Trail will provide a safe and accessible route for pedestrians and cyclists. This project is more than just a path—it's a catalyst for community engagement, economic development, improved quality of life, and environmental justice.
As a Clean-Air Corridor, the North Omaha Trail aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve air quality, and enhance climate resilience in our community. Through innovative design and community education, we're creating a green artery that will help our city breathe easier.
