Public and private partners have recently invested nearly $14 million to develop middle-income workforce housing in qualified census tracts in Douglas and Sarpy Counties in Nebraska. Homes built or renovated with this financing will appraise between $155,000 and $330,000.
Seven local nonprofit organizations are collaborating to maximize the opportunites for developers, homebuyers and other investors - Canopy South, Habitat for Humanity of Omaha, Holy Name Housing, Omaha 100, Omaha Economic Development Corporation, Seventy Five North and Spark.
